The Scorecard. It’s Coming.

report_cardTomorrow is the big day you’ve all been waiting for — the unveiling of the Advance Arkansas Institute’s latest Freedom Scorecard!

AAI will hold a ceremony at the Capitol to unveil the new report and recognize our top-scoring legislators for their work for freedom. If you’d like to join us, swing by the Old Supreme Court room at 10:30 a.m. tomorrow.

This report will be the most thorough of its kind ever produced in Arkansas, scoring over 100 bills from this year’s legislative session on the topics of clean elections, criminal justice, education reform, economic freedom, Obamacare/health care reform, integrity in government, lawsuit reform, personal liberty, anti-cronyism, Second Amendment rights, smaller government, and tax relief. It’s 48 pages of action-packed policy information — you do not want to miss it.

Tomorrow, we’ll also announce — and this is not in our report — the AAI Legislators of the Year. Our staff and board chose one representative and one senator who (we think) did the best job of advancing conservative values. We didn’t choose the legislators of the year by looking at complete voting records. Instead, we decided to honor the two legislators who sponsored and passed the most important pieces of legislation during the session.

Want a copy of the report? We just put a copy in the mail to every one of the members of AAI. If you’d like to see how your legislators scored, please consider becoming an AAI member today. We’ll be pleased to put your personal copy of the scorecard in the mail.

See you in the Capitol tomorrow!
