Rumor Mongering: Huckabee FOX News Show a Go
An overnight e-mail reports that former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee’s new gig is a FOX News show titled “Huckabee” that will debut at 8 p.m. Eastern/7 p.m. Central on Saturday, Sept. 26. I still don’t see anything on the FOX News site that indicates such, but this is a source I’m inclined to trust, so what the hell, let’s go with it.
The Arkansas Project pointed to some rumors on this front two days ago. The earlier report tagged it as a “political/variety show” (hey, that suggests that it would be a great venue for Huckabee’s band! Yay!) and that it would have a live studio audience.
Updated: Silly me. I finally found it over at Huckabee’s blog. How clever of him to hide it right there in plain sight, where I’d never think to look. So I guess we’re upgrading this one from “Rumor Mongering” to “Stone Cold Fact.”
Update II: The AP’s man about town Andrew Demillo follows up with the tidbit that Republican hot chick Elizabeth Hasselbeck (click here to brighten your miserable day for few seconds), one of the hosts of “The View,” will be the first guest on the Huck show.
