The Arkansas Project

The Arkansas Project blog launched in July 2008 as a source for incisive commentary and reporting on Arkansas politics, media and more.

This one time, this guy at the Washington Post said this was one of the best political blogs in Arkansas. But that was a long time ago. I kind of doubt it still holds true, frankly. But back then, boy, it was really something.

Who We Are

David Kinkade, the principal Arkansas Project contributor, is a freelance writer in Little Rock. A former reporter for the Northwest Arkansas Times, he served as speechwriter to U.S. Senator Blanche Lincoln of Arkansas and for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement in the Department of Homeland Security. He also served as director of communications on Asa Hutchinson’s 2006 campaign for governor.

Cory Allen Cox is an attorney practicing law in Little Rock. He was previously legal counsel for Gov. Mike Huckabee and director of the Criminal Investigation Division of the Arkansas Insurance Department. Dan Greenberg is a Little Rock lawyer, editor and law professor who represents legislative district 31 in the Arkansas General Assembly, a district that includes portions of Pulaski County and Saline County. A former policy director for Gov. Mike Huckabee, Dan has published extensively on government and public policy in newspapers, magazines and academic journals, including the New York Times, National Review and more.
