Whaaaaaaaa….?
AP’s Jill Zeman reports that Gov. Mike Beebe has put the brakes on the terrible, terrible milk tax, which for reasons unbeknownst even to me has been one of my top issues to harp on these last several weeks, and has found an alternative funding stream that won’t require a new tax on dairy products. He says he won’t veto the bill but will stamp it “return to sender” while he digs more coins out of the Governor’s Mansion couch cushions to make it happen.
Could we say that this is a clear demonstration of the power and influence of The Arkansas Project? I think it’s pretty clear, my friends, that the answer is a resounding “no.” In fact, that would be a totally stupid thing to say. I don’t know what’s wrong with you sometimes.
