Waiting on the Rain
I’ve done a little review of the morning news and, let me tell you, you can just take today off. Unless you’re obsessed with Hurricane Ike coverage, in which case you should just park yourself in front of the Weather Channel all day and watch it unfold. And if that’s what you’re going to do, congratulations—you just turned into my mother.
In Arkansas political news today, the “Barack Obama for President” office is scheduled to open in North Little Rock this afternoon. I was going to go, but it looks like my invitation was lost in the mail.
