These Arkansas Legislators Have Caught the ‘Digital Fever’!
Hey, did you know that a bunch of Arkansas lawmakers are now using “social media” channels—like these things called “Tweets” and “Blogs”— to get the word out about their activities to their constituents and colleagues? It’s true! And we know it because the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, a news-paper, covered it in a big story today!
That’s right! These lawmakers have “caught the digital fever”!
Of course, a lot of us were pretty much aware of this already, because we are sentient human beings. But this timely story was a helpful way for you to catch up on the phenomenom, now that the legislative session is over, if for some reason it had passed you by until now.

I mean, y’know, just for example, if you’d never seen any of those things before, then yes, this Arkansas Democrat-Gazette story was just what you needed to bring you up to speed on this hot new trend that’s taken over the state Capitol.

When I read a newspaper I feel as if I am holding an archeological artifact in my hands. The idea that I cannot click on an item in the story and get more information on it seems archaic. The inability to type out a response to the article is often frustrating, the lack of comments from others (often better than the original article) is irritating.
Have you ever wondered how odd it is that a print newspaper is always pushing tripe about how EVIL CONSERVATIVES need to have a smaller carbon footprint, while THEY are the ones using forests worth of paper?
The motto ought to be “The Democrat-Gazette, Yesterday’s News Tomorrow.”
