Radio Free Blogosphere

Think Tank blogger Blake Rutherford conned his way into was invited to guest host Bill Vickery’s Sunday morning radio show on The Buzz 103.7 this weekend. And guess who he’s inviting to join him on the air? Oh, go ahead, guess, guess!

No clue? I’m talking about me, The Arkansas Project, dumbass. Geez, you’re thick. Lance Turner and maybe some other local clowns will probably be around, too. We’ll talk about state politics and a bunch of other crap, I guess.

So just go ahead and plan on skipping church that morning — you can get right with God some other time — and tune in around 9 a.m. or so, because this one’s going all the way to 11, baby.

If I listen, can I twitter the entire event? Or will Blake be pulling double duty on that as well?

It’s just not fair Blake for you to have so much: guest host radio gig, tweeter extraordinaire, AND Arkansas’ 2nd Best-Looking Blogger. It’s just not fair!

  • I might just have to call in and talk to you, David. Your mother always says I’m not much of a father figure for you.

    Bill,

Is it true that you and David’s mother never married?

To keep in line with what is mostly on twitter, I will be tweeting that Blake is tweeting about being live on the radio. Man, Sunday will be a legendary day in twitter history!

  • DumbArkie,

I’m not married to David’s mother, nor am I David’s father. When I met David’s mother she was a grass widow and David was just a young sprig not more than 35. Apparently during David’s childhood his mother had different men in and out of the house quite often but none of them ever took too kindly to little Davey. She feels like David missed out on some important manly activities as a kid and she wants me to help him out with “not being like a little girl”. I’m doing what I can for her because she’s a real good woman…if you know what I mean.

Bill’s right — his mentorship was important to my manly education. Bill’s the one who taught me that I could increase my blog traffic numbers by posting photos of hot chicks. Before he came along, it was all just photos of adorable kittens and the Jonas Brothers.

Okay, just for practice, I just twittered, or tweeted (or is it twote?) some TIMELY information. Go check it out at twitter.com/dumbarkie. Good stuff. Boy, I can’t wait for Sunday!!!

DK, I’ll need for all of your readers, especially those outside the reach of “The Buzz”, to start following me on Twitter in order to get maximum impact on Sunday. We could quite possibly shut Twitter down!

DumbArkie, I’m pretty sure that your TIMELY Twitter link is Exhibit A in the case favoring the death of newspapers.

Blake, sometimes it’s hard to tell someone’s tone on a blog, but if that’s a challenge, I promise I can be bigger twit than you!
