Palin vs. Huckabee: Who’s the Future?

The AP’s Andrew Demillo weighs in with a terrific assessment of how the sudden ascent of Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin on the national scene—it’s hard to believe that it’s just been two weeks since McCain announced his VP pick—could crimp Mike Huckabee’s ambitions for the future.

An excellent analysis from Demillo, but surely I’m not the only person who gets a sinking feeling when people start talking about 2012 and 2016—before we’ve even gotten around to settling 2008. Am I?

One of the best things about Palin is that she might save us from the flip flopping rich Mormon and the soft on crime dishonest tax and spend liberal Baptist.

  • “The Tolber Report” is a HuckFan who also really like Gov. Palin. I don’t think the two are mutually exclusive. What will happen in the next four to eight years. Who knows? Like Kinkade, I say let’s get through the next 50 days first.
