New Footage From FGA: The ‘PO’ Is “ObamaCare’s Medicaid Expansion”

1798479_282340961929349_994261125_nThe Foundation for Government Accountability has released a new web video that highlights many of the broken promises of the Arkansas version of Medicaid expansion, which has been dubbed the “private option.”

The video features comments from FGA’s Kristina Ribali and two Arkansas legislators — Rep. Bruce Westerman (the Advance

Arkansas Institute’s
Best Friend of Freedom for 2013
) and Senator Bryan King (AAI Legislator of the Year for 2013). Modesty prevents me from telling you which AAI staff member also plays a lead role in this star-studded production. (Hint: it isn’t me.)

In a statement to The Arkansas Project, FGA’s Chris Cinquemani said:

This video is a must-see for every elected official in a state contemplating a version of Arkansas’ so-called Private Option. The Private Option is a cleverly disguised ObamaCare Medicaid expansion that hurts patients, gouges taxpayers and wrecks state budgets. The folks in this video know best about this dangerous scheme and their warnings should be taken to heart. No state should replicate Arkansas’ mistake.

The video will be used around the country to warn legislators about the dangers of a “private option” approach to Obamacare’s Medicaid expansion.

Grab some popcorn and check out the video:
