McCain and Company Hit Missouri Sunday

GOP presidential contender John McCain will make a swing through Missouri this weekend, with a campaign rally in O’Fallon on Sunday, before heading to Minneapolis-St. Paul for the Republican National Convention.

Along for the ride: The Men Who Would Be VP, former Ark. Gov. Mike Huckabee and former Massachussetts Gov. Mitt Romney, who should really just be thrown into a pit together, each armed only with a knife, and ordered to hash this out like men, instead of sniping at each other in the press every day.

I actually think this is a smart idea on McCain’s behalf. I hope Huckabee and Romney can focus on bringing their supporters together. Right now there is a lot of enmity in both camps toward the other, which I believe is one of the things causing some Party apathy. Of course if either one gets the VP nod, this will be an awkward meeting.

I didn’t think it was possible for the Repugs to pick a worse VP than the Democrats did with Joe Biden. (He brings a whole new meaning to the term Joementum) However, I’m afraid that they’re about to do so with Romney. Click my name for evidence.

I don’t know what Romney does with a rubber glove but I know what Huckabee does to taxpayers with a rubber glove.
