2010 Senate Race: Is Blanche Lincoln ‘Unbeatable’? (Updated!)

If you didn’t catch me and Blake Rutherford of Blake’s Think Tank talking Arkansas politics on the latest edition of Roby Brock’s “Talk Business” television programme, boy, do I envy your rich and satisfying life. What’s that like?

But if you can set aside whatever fascinating thing it is that you’re doing right now, you might want to head over to Roby’s “Political Buzz” site where he’s made available a snippet of the show for your viewing pleasure. We’re talking about the 2010 Senate race and Blake makes a bold prediction that Democratic Sen. Blanche Lincoln is “unbeatable.” Goodness, the brass on this one!

I don’t say anything so brash, so you’ll just have to settle for my boyish good looks and abundant charm, which really shines through here, I think.

UPDATE: This has been floating around for a couple of days and you may have seen it on other blogs, but the “Senate Guru” blogger offers an extensive and left-leaning analysis of the 2010 race, with his/her recommendations for Lincoln.

  • Unbeatable? Do the Democrats really think she’s unbeatable? I’ll be the first to admit that a Republican winning next year is an extreme uphill battle, but calling Blanche unbeatable is silly. Dale Bumpers was unbeatable, David Pryor was unbeatable. Blanche Lincoln ain’t Bumpers or Pryor.

If a Republicans is going to win he’ll have to be an A+ candidate. But, with Obama’s economic fumbling and Blanche towing the line the environment for Democrats in Arkansas is going to be bad next year.

I haven’t noticed Blanche Lincoln do or say one thing the everyday Arkansas voter has any problems with. Most Arkansas voters would rather vote Democrat anyway and she ain’t rocking the boat.

“I am a Democrat because my daddy was a Democrat, and his Daddy was a Democrat too.”

Blanche Lincoln is in trouble, people. There is a revolution brewing among the people to oust ANYONE who supports the liberal, economy-destroying, socialist principles of The Obama Administration. And that includes Blanche Lincoln.
Americans are starting to realize the truth about this administration, and the underlying, insidious agenda they have. The resistance is growing like a tsunami and is becoming more and more organized every day (i.e., American Tea Party, The912Project, ResistNet, etc)
Blanche Lincoln better “gird her loins” as her pal Joe Biden would say.

Blanche Lincoln should be in trouble. She has waffled time and time again about the union vote.

    Bruce,
if you or any other Arkansans don’t have a problem with that, then perhaps it is best that keeping party lines be the goal during elections. Also, be grateful that predecessors were not idiots, or……

Come on, people, the liberals are now telling us we need to undergo the most enormous tax liability for energy reform and it has just come out today that the EPA has confirmed not only is there no global warming, but that the temperatures are cooling.

    Liberals are killing this country.

  • I keep hearing Blanche has all kinds of money put away for her re-election campaign. I’m wondering how much of this is coming from within Arkansas and how much is from other radical liberals across the country that want to keep the Democrat numbers up?

She hasn’t done anything we disapprove of??? She always votes for this trash. Lincoln only wants to hang around with other socialists like Chuck Shumer of NY. We all know how well NY’s economy is doing… Its time to vote these people out, and if the next is not any better, we need to vote them out also.

Bebee should be next to go. For not standing up with TX, OK, LA, MS, and the others.

These people only want to bring coastal liberal idology to Arkansas. We see how it has ruined those states and WE DONT WANT IT!

Can you say 13 trillion dollar deficit ?

Has everyone forgotten Senator Lincolns statement August ’09 about people expressing their 1st ammendment rights ?

I’ll remind you; quote from her very mouth and heart.

    ” It’s unAmerican and emberassing ! ” Blanche Lincoln Aug ’09 ”

Do you actually want someone who has contempt for you if you don’t tow the DEMOCRAT~PARTY line misrepresenting you in D.C. ?
I’m an independent voter who has renounced any and all afilliation with the Democrat/Socialist/Marxist/Liberal party !
Ask yourself do you really want Obama to ” Fundementally change this nation into some socialist country .”
    How AMERICAN is that ?
