UCA Lands ‘Exquisite Corpse’

How’s that for a seemingly nonsensical headline? The University of Central Arkansas announced today that the “major literary journal” Exquisite Corpse: A Journal of Letters and Life will be making its home at UCA.
Along with the perennial money-loser Oxford American, this brings the total number of UCA’s distinguished literary journals that everyone gushes over, but nobody actually reads, to two.
Here’s the Exquisite Corpse website, if you want more of the publication’s flavor. And over there is a still from “Night of the Living Dead,” because naturally my first thought upon reading the publication’s title was of zombies, because I am a hopeless philistine.

Any chance we can trade these two for just one decent literary journal…maybe Glimmer Train, All-Story, or American Short Fiction? Anyone want to trade? Hmmm? Pretty please?

Rex,
Hmm, I haven’t heard of those distinguished literary journals either. Look, zombies!
