Do you mean to suggest that there is a prominent Arkansas Republican who ISN'T floating his name to run for Senate? Wonders never cease!

anselm -

I don't think Bud's the one. His wife wants him to earn a living for a while.

BTW - Thanks for returning to the speculation and rumor-mongering that I love so much!

I suspect you may have stricken upon something there, Cameron. We need to get to developing some kind of synthetic birdcage lining to bring to market in time for the collapse of the newspaper industry. Quick, to the laboratory!

And to the point DK, the names I mentioned are journalists. You are a blogger. They are always bringing up that point, so that is why I used their names in conjunction with your eloquent verbosity. The fact that Blogs generally get it RIGHT, generally have much better journalistic skills, and more often than not provide both sides of a story should not get in the way that the names mentioned are STARS in the field of print journalism. Just as the names Cyrus and McCormick were giants in the files of horse drawn farm implements. Just as Ma Bell led the way in rotary phone technolgy, these individuals lead the way in the field of newspapering. Just tell me this Mr. ARPro Guy, how in the heck do folks cover the bottoms of their birdcages when newspapers disappear...huh? How do you answer that one Mr. Smartypants Blogger?

But...you could still post up a couple bikini shots. Just for old times...surely. After all, it has been what, 30 hours or so...come on man, give us a break.

On the Republican side, is there any talk of Bud Cummins running for Blanche's Senate seat?

Dear heavens, Cameron, the day I start looking to John Brummett's writing as a benchmark for ANYTHING is the day I shut this son of a bitch blog down.

DK,

Is it legal in Arkansas to utter the words "embarrassingly sycophantic encomia" or even worse yet, take pen to paper (keystrokes to pixels?) and record them for digital eternity? I know for a fact Brummett never uses them, Kane Webb never uses them, and although Paul Greenberg likely uses them regularly, no one completes his editorials.

Therefore, are you possibly placing yourself and the future of The Arkansas Project in peril thorugh the utterance of these esoteric terms? I recommend you retreat to the safety of posting scantily-clad girls for a few days until the danger has receeded.
