If you’re looking for some Sunday afternoon reading, you could do much worse than to curl up with Kane Webb’s long profile of Fayetteville mayoral hopeful Steve Clark in the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette.
Clark served as Arkansas attorney general in the late 80s and was thought to be a shining star in the state’s political firmament until a felony conviction for abusing his state credit card brought him low. Problems with alcohol and money followed, until Clark’s recovery and unlikely second shot at public office this year. Check it out.
