LR Prostie Cops Bust Johns in Sex Sting!

Hey, we haven’t had an entry in the Arkansas Criminal Masterminds series in a while, so let’s go with this one:

Little Rock vice cops (there’s vice in Little Rock? Why wasn’t I informed?) launched an undercover prostitution sting this weekend that netted 54 arrests, Jim Brooks reports in the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette.

Among those arrested was this Mensa member:

Within five minutes of taking up their positions behind the convenience store at Stanton and Base Line roads in southwest Little Rock on Wednesday night, two undercover police officers posing as prostitutes had their first of many customers.

One officer wore a pair of denim shorts and a T-shirt, her brunet hair gathered in a ponytail, while the other wore a brown shirt and short shorts.

“You look too good to be on the streets,” the man said. “You sure you’re not cops?”

The man’s suspicions didn’t stop him from offering the women $20 for a sex act or from becoming one of 54 people arrested during a three day operation by the Little Rock Police Department’s vice squad last week.

The newspaper, since it’s “respectable,” wasn’t kind enough to provide photos, and let me tell you, when you do a Google image search on “hookers,” you get some really interesting results, especially if you have the “Safesearch” filter turned off. None were suitable for posting on this blog, even by my low standards, so you’ll just have to make do with that “Pretty Woman” poster up there.
