Little Rock TV Reporter in Critical Condition
I should have noted earlier that Arkansas Project blogging may be sporadic in the coming days due to some other work commitments. And it appears to be an OK day for light blogging, as the Arkansas political scene looks a little quiet….

Anne Pressly
Of course, by now you’ve likely seen the horrible news of the attack on KATV reporter Anne Pressly in her home last night, leaving her in critical condition. Heavy stuff, and here’s hoping that Ms. Pressly is on the mend and fully recovered soonest, and that the perpetrator of the crime is identified and apprehended posthaste. Terrible news.
More soon, as time permits.

I am a single woman who has lived alone since 1995. One day I came home and found a teenage boy in my house and I screamed. It’s terrible women who live alone have to be put in such danger. After the police did nothing to help me, I installed a security system.
