Debate is On
I don’t usually note these developments in the presidential race unless they have some kind of Arkansas touch, but I commented on this in passing earlier in the day and wanted to follow up: John McCain says that he will debate Barack Obama in Oxford, Miss., tonight.Was this the plan all along, and the whole spectacle of the last three days was just a massive head fake to insert some wild uncertainty into the proceedings and throw Obama off his game? Sure, why not, let’s go with that.

I think they should have a 90 minute pre-debate in which the candidates debate whether to actually have a debate.

Dear God! Obama is supremely talented at talking and talking and talking, yet never saying a damn thing.
