CFC Announces ‘Private Option’ Physician Forums

CFC bannerI’m sure you’ve already heard a lot about AAI’s upcoming town hall meetings on Obamacare — and I’m sure you’ve already registered to reserve your seat and free meal. However, we wanted to let you know about another series of events that are happening soon around the state.

Our friends over at the Conduit For Commerce have announced four town hall meetings on the “private option” (which we all know has nothing to do with Obamacare). The forums will feature Arkansas physicians who will discuss the impact of Medicaid expansion on their practices and their patients. Panelists will also discuss the importance distinctions between health care and health insurance.

The first forum is this Thursday from 7:00-9:00 at the Embassy Suites in Rogers. The next forum will be held on Tuesday, January 14th, at the Statehouse Convention Center in Little Rock.
