I don't want to see any division within the party, but he is certainly the man we need. Not enough CRs and YRs showed up to cast their votes, and the establishment settled it for us. It makes me sad for my ole home. I see other southern states around with Republican governors. I see how hopefull the people are and how they think the best years are in front of them, then I think of the people of Arkansas still voting democrat. And why? "Because my grandfather was a democrat and I am a Democrat too!" Ok Arkansas. Ok. We were a few years away anyway, but now even farther. It makes me sad for my ole home. Webb is not only "more of the same" in a time when the GOP desperately needs new ideas and fresh faces, he's downright smarmy. Considering his campaigning for the position you would think that it would have been a blowout. It shows how our party is split on the direction we should take. I hope we can find common ground to continue to build against the dems. They are mad about their losses and will be gunning for us at every chance.
